Craft Party Augusta 2017: Demos and Vendors

This year at Craft Party there was a whole lot going on!  We had special vendors and demos of different crafts, and a craft contest to finish the evening.  It was a fun night to celebrate creativity.

In order to thank them for their support, I would like to tell you a little bit about their services.

Vendors and Demonstrators

-Honestly Sweet Gifts:  Kristi Cook is the owner of this local gift business that sells crocheted gifts, and floral items like corsages.  One of her specialties is crocheting metal, which she graciously demonstrated during our event.  Yes you heard me correctly!  You can find out more about her business here.

-Lupe's Creations: Lupe Fernandez loves making arts & crafts and is my right hand woman in the Ever Crafty venture.  As of late, she has fallen in love with all things fairy garden, and she has been making fairy hideouts non-stop.  She doesn't have a shop where she sells her items yet, but you can message her on Facebook here.

-Macaroni Kid:  Scarlett McQueen in the local CSRA momma in the know.  If you want to know what to do with your kiddos just visit either of her pages Macaroni Kid Augusta, or Evans-Martinez-Grovetown.  Thank you for having a kids crafting table at out event!

-Murky Waters Studio:  This married couple love blowing glass and making their functional and non-functional pieces.  During the craft party we got to see a glass blowing demonstration which was quite exciting.  We also got to look at their beautiful pendants, ornaments and decorative pieces.  Their creativity is limitless!  More info about their business here.

-My Best Friends Sewing Room:  Jordan Nuques is one of the owners of the cutest little sewing business in town.  She focuses on teaching all the sewing arts and her studio is located in La Petit Plaza, off of Washington Road.  I was so thankful that she could be a judge for our craft contest!  Please like her page here.

-Peachy Palms & Whisker Tamers: These are two businesses by the same gal Kerri Lewis.  Peachy Palms focus on bath and body products, like lotions and body scrubs,  and Whisker Tamers focuses on selling manly beard balms and oils.  It was a pleasure to have you selling at our event!

-Sandlapper Chick:  Susan Igel is a Jane-of-all trades, not is she one of the best Pampered Chef consultants in the area, but she enjoys photography and jewelry making.  Sandlapper Chick is her wire wrapped jewelry collection.  She gave a demo during the craft party on how to make a Beaded Wire Wrapped Cross. Find out more about her collection here on her Photobucket account.

-Sandra Simmons: Sandra loves making intricate vintage window silhouettes, they are just lovely.  She also sells jewelry and hair accessories with a vintage feel.  She loves taking pictures and sells her photography in the Mega Byte Photos website.  We enjoyed having her table during the event!  You can find her at different vendor events in the CSRA.

-Sherri's Smiles & Shenanigans:  Sherri Rodriguez was the one behind that awesome photo booth at the party.  Even though this is not her official business, we wanted to give it a name and thank her for always being a great friend and indulging us with our crazy ideas!  Love you Sherri!  Take a look at the photos here.

-The Little French Bake Shoppe:  Michelle Towler is our local French baker!  Not only does she sell the most delicious treats and cakes, but she also teaches her craft.  We were lucky to have her doing a cupcake decorating demo that was a hit for kids and adults alike, and her peanut butter cupcakes were just awesome.  To buy sweets or learn more about her shop visit her webpage here.

Words cannot express how grateful I am!
